I moved here from London, and finding the best vets was my absolute top priority. Although I travel a little further to get here, I can confidently say this practice is amazing. All of my dogs are seen here, and I always feel extremely informed after every visit. I’ve even signed up for the plan for all the dogs. The only reason I wouldn’t give five stars is that I wish they were open on weekends and had an emergency hospital service, as they are amazing. My dog has had several traumatic experiences at a previous vet after being attacked by two dogs on two separate occasions, which resulted in a partial tail amputation and a few injuries. He hasn’t fully recovered from that trauma, especially after they were cleaning his painful cuts and holding him down without anaesthetic or any pain relief. Because of this, he’s understandably fearful of unfamiliar people, new places, and being away, but this vet has truly helped ease him back in (although he’s still a little bit and miss with trusting the kennel cough depending on the day). With each visit, I can see his confidence growing, and that means the world to me. The reception staff are also fantastic always incredibly friendly and welcoming and I love how they send reminders. Highly recommended.

We’ve been going to this veterinary practice for decades (long before it became Medivet and relocated to Bermuda Park) and wouldn’t go anywhere else while the current team are here. They’ve been there from us getting new pups to sending them over the rainbow bridge. They are always upfront about costs (albeit increasingly expensive due to no longer being independent), friendly and accommodating when it comes to booking emergency and routine appointments, and calm and compassionate which makes the dogs and us feel at ease when we come in. The reason I’ve taken off one star is because on one important occasion (putting our beloved but troubled Border Collie to sleep), a lesser experienced/confident vet created more distress for our dog which made the experience of saying goodbye further traumatic and for a long time we held guilt over the decision we had made despite it being in his best interests. This vet no longer works at the practice and for our other dogs that have been put to sleep here it has been a peaceful, dignified and unhurried goodbye. From my Pomeranians to my Pug, my Collies to my Spaniel Cross, we have always been in safe hands here whether it’s been for health checks, vaccinations, tests or operations, and I’m happy to recommend it to anyone now. The new location is lovely too; more spacious, brighter and easier to park. On behalf of Poco, Rocky-Roo, Pups, Oscar, Mitch, Sammy and our human family, a huge thank you… especially to Mark, Jane & Janet.
